- FUE Hair Transplant
Follicular unit extraction hair transplant or FUE hair transplant is a sort of hair transplant that involves removing individual hair follicles from your skin and transplanting them to an area of your body where hair is weaker or nonexistent. FUE has grown in popularity compared to follicular unit transplantation (FUT), which produced the hair plugs appearance. Single follicles are removed and moved by surgeons using micro punches, leaving essentially no evidence of the procedure.
How Is FUE Hair Transplant Performed?
As you get older, the three-phase cycle of hair growth and regrowth shortens until follicles no longer regrow hairs. For each person, this process is different. Others go bald much later in life, while other people begin to go bald in their 20s. By substituting these damaged follicles with fresh ones that can still produce hair, FUE hair transplant restores hair. Blood vessels will start feeding the follicles after the transplant, allowing them to start growing hair where there was previously balding or sparse hair.

Healing Process After FUE Hair Transplant
FUE hair transplant procedure has a rapid recovery time. During the next three days, you could experience some swelling or discomfort. Don’t take a shower or wash your hair for at least three days. Once you begin shampooing your hair, use softly perfume-free shampoos for a few weeks. Take a few days off from work to hasten the healing process. For at least 3 weeks, avoid using a comb or brush on your new hair. Till your doctor gives the all-clear, avoid donning hats, beanies, or any other items of clothing that cover your head. Don’t engage in any strenuous exercise for at least a week. It’s possible that some hairs will come out when the wound heals. That is typical. After 3 to 4 months, you’ll probably start to see a difference.
Advantages of FUE Hair Transplant
The FUE hair transplant procedure leaves no linear scar because it harvests and transplants hairs in their natural groups. This makes hair look more natural and enables you to wear it as short as you wish without worrying about a noticeable scar. Local anesthetic is used throughout the FUE process to provide minimal discomfort. Due to the minimally invasive nature of the FUE transplant, many patients report very minor discomfort during or after the treatment. The recovery period following a FUE transplant is brief because no scalpels or stitches are utilized in the procedure, and many patients return to their regular activities in a matter of days. The actual procedure only requires roughly 8 hours.
